Freestanding grandfather clock, produced in Briccole di Venezia, composed of 2 columns: linear back, oblique front to create a curious game in perspective from any side that can be observed. In a specially created part on the rear column, the layout of the plant is placed in various proposed types. The built-in clock allows the hands to rotate 360 ​​°, creating in a few hours a fun imaginary perception of time.

What are the "briccole di Venezia"?

The Briccole are groups of three poles that delimit the navigable areas in the channels of the lagoon and provide a series of important information to the sailors. They are replaced after being sculpted by mollusks, which leave a trace of their passage through a work made of holes. A post set in the pond lasts an average of 5 to 10 years, and is then replaced once corrosion occurs. The wood of which they are composed acquires extraordinary properties over the years, which makes it an object of desire for the most important designers in the world. But the value of this material goes far beyond its physical composition: we recover a part of the history of the Venetian lagoon from the water and, through a meticulous artisan process, we obtain decorative objects that contain all the beauty and magic of this extraordinary territory. During this process, which lasts a few days, the sap of the plant evaporates and is replaced by this new mixture.

Finally, the plants are rinsed and suspended in a drying room for a few days. Quality control and cleaning are carried out before the vegetables are shipped.
