• The antecedent of this technology is found in the industrial production of Sanitary Sodium Hypochlorite (Bleach).
• In bleach factories, salt dissociation is used to produce hypochlorous acid. They are facilities where the temperature of the water (90º C) and the high concentration of salt in it (200 g / lt. 7 times that of sea water) lead to high production performance.
• The concept behind salt chlorinators for swimming pools is based on achieving equipment that is small and manageable and capable of achieving an adequate production of free chlorine in conditions that are pleasant to human beings. That is, at temperatures between 20º C and 36º C and at concentrations of salt in water of 5 to 7 gr / l.
