Danfoss Eco ™ is a self-contained thermostatic radiator head for residential use.

Danfoss Eco ™ is battery operated, compact and easy to operate via a hand wheel and a single button. Danfoss Eco ™ is programmed with a smartphone application via a Bluetooth connection.

Danfoss Eco ™ is easy to install, in just 30 seconds. Adapters are available for all thermostatic valves manufactured by Danfoss and for most radiator valves from other manufacturers.

Measurement of ambient temperature

Danfoss Eco ™ measures temperature with several built-in sensors to ensure precise control. Taking these readings into account, the ambient temperature of an area of ​​approximately 20 cm in front of the screen is calculated. Thus, Danfoss Eco ™ can control the actual ambient temperature with great precision.

Be aware that sources of cold or heat (chimneys, sunlight or direct drafts) can affect the operation of Danfoss Eco ™.

Main features

In-app programming

Simple programming with an app via Bluetooth on a smartphone or tablet. You can configure up to three periods of temperature reduction per day and it is possible to copy the programming to other days.

Software updates

The software updates are automatic, informing about them through the application. The data security of the Danfoss Eco ™ thermostat and the app paired to your smartphone is guaranteed. The system has been tested by independent specialists.

 Open window function

Danfoss Eco ™ has an open window function that closes the valve if the ambient temperature drops sharply, thus reducing heat loss. The radiator heat is turned off for 30 minutes, before Danfoss Eco ™ returns to its original settings. Once the open window function is activated, it is quarantined for 45 minutes.

 Fit to valve

During the first night of operation, Danfoss Eco ™ will close the radiator valve and reopen it to detect the exact opening point. This will allow Danfoss Eco ™ to control heat in the most efficient way possible. If necessary, the procedure will be repeated once every night for up to a week.

You may notice that the valve is hot during the adjustment process, regardless of the ambient temperature

Child lock

Activating the child lock will prevent the settings from being changed.

Progressive learning

During the first week of operation, Danfoss Eco ™ learns when it is necessary to open the valve in the room to reach the correct temperature at the correct time.

The intelligent control continuously adjusts the heating time to seasonal temperature changes.

Automatic valve activation

In order for the radiator valve to maintain its functionality and optimal condition, Danfoss Eco ™ automatically activates the valve every Thursday at approximately 11:00 am, fully opening it and returning it to its normal setting.
