Description

This solar adhesive sheet avoid to 50% of heat, reducing radiation untravioleta in more than 99% to 380 nm.

This solar adhesive sheet avoid to 50% of heat, reducing radiation untravioleta in more than 99% to 380 nm.

This sheet does not alter the transparency of the glass and preserves the luminosity of all spaces, thus considerably improving comfort, allowing the reduction of energy consumption related to the use of air conditioning.

DESCRIPTION

IR 50 solar film returns more than 50% of the heat and reduces UV radiation. The film maintains the transparency of the glass and does not scatter light in all directions. It is a genuine contributor to comfort improvements. It also saves energy related to the use of air conditioning.

Composition of heat-resistant window films.

The adhesive sunscreen film is made up of two layers of vacuum metallized polyester, an adhesive and a protective film (to be removed during installation). They have an anti-scratch coating.

Solar control

To avoid overheating:

  • Ensure air circulation,
  • Use films with limited energy transmission, called "Anti-Heat Films", which allow only a certain fraction of the solar energy to pass through, allowing light to be conserved while minimizing overheating,
  • Save energy related to the use of air conditioners,
  • Gain up to 10 ° C temperature,
  • Improve comfort,
  • Reduce glare.

Solar factor

The solar factor (G) of a window is a ratio between the total energy entering a room through the window and the incident solar radiation. This total energy is the sum of the solar energy that enters by direct transmission, and the energy produced by the glazing to the interior atmosphere, after its heating by energy absorption.

Greenhouse effect

Solar energy entering a room through glazing is absorbed by objects and internal walls which, when heated, emit localized thermal radiation mainly in the far infrared (more than 5 µm). Glazing, even light, is practically opaque to radiation of wavelengths greater than 5 µm. Solar energy entering through the windows is trapped in the room, which tends to heat up. It is the "greenhouse effect" that can be seen, for example, when a car is parked in direct sunlight with the windows closed.

APPLICATION METHOD

The glass surface to be glued must be free of dust, grease or other contaminants. Some specific materials, such as polycarbonate, can cause problems with air bubbles. Therefore, a compatibility test is recommended. For greater precision we recommend consulting the application table.

PRODUCTION AND STANDARDS.

To constantly improve our production, we may change the color and manufacturing process of a product without prior notice. Before applying our products, we recommend that our users ensure that the film is suitable for its intended use and complies with current standards.

To maintain the high level of quality, we do not recommend mixing different film productions when applying films.
